2024 Local Elections – BEC: Psd has 24 of 41 mandates of president of County Councils, PNL -11 ,UDMR- 4 and PSD-PNL Election Alliance -2

  PSD has 24 of the 41 mandates of presidents of County Councils at national level, while PNL has 11, UDMr – 4, the Election Alliance PSD-PNL -2, according to the results released on Thursday by the Central Election Office (BEC) . In county councils, PSD obtained 38.94% of mandates, being followed by PNL – 30.79%, AUR – 11.88% and UDMR -7.77%.   The Central Election Office (BEC) released on Thursday the partial versions of the Report on the centralization of votes in the country and the result of elections for County Council presidents of June 9, of the Report on the centralization of votes and results for the elction fo County Councils.   As for the election of presidents for County Councils, the participation in voting was 50.55%, the total number of valid votes being 7,939,028 (95.54%).   PSD obtained 35.56% of valid votes, PNL 29.15%, AUR 9.68%, United Right Wing Alliance USR-PMP- Right Wing Force- 8.80%, UDMR 6.04%, PSD-PNL Election Alliance 3.26%, SOS Romania Party 2.93%.   Of the total number of 41 mandates for County Council president, PSD has 24 (58.54%), PNL 11 (26.83%), UDMR 4 (9.76%) and PSD-PNL Election Alliance has 2 (4.88%).   In the election of County Councils, the participation in voting was 50.55%, with 7.882,129 valid votes, representing 94.86%.   PSD obtained 33.50% of valid votes, being followed by PNL -27.63%, AUR 10.70%, United Right Wing Alliance -8.29%, UDMR 6.43%, PSD-PNL Election Alliance 3.28%, SOS Romania Party 2.88%.   Of the 1,338 mandates of county councilor, PSD has 521 (38.94%), PNL 412 (30.79%), AUR 159 (11.88%), UDMR 104 (7.77%), United Right Wing Alliance 75 (5.61%), Psd-PSNl Election Alliance 42 (3.14%, PSD-PUSL Election Alliance 13 (0.97%), FDGR -5 (0.37%), United Right Wing Alliance 3 (0.22%), USR and the Hungarian Alliance 2 each (0.15%).
