SII Romania has a new CEO: Iulia Surugiu takes over the management of the company locally

SII Romania, a multinational company specialized in software engineering and technology consulting, announces the appointment of a new General Manager – Iulia Surugiu, who has extensive expertise in business operations and management, and over a decade of experience within the company. She takes the lead from Manel Ballesteros, who ran the local branch for the past 15 years.

Iulia Surugiu has decisively contributed to the development of SII Romania over the past 10 years, playing a key role and cumulating attributions in the operational, strategic, and business development sphere, her most recent position being Operational Director. Under her leadership, SII Romania continues to provide software engineering and technology consulting services at the highest level of quality, to maintain the customers’ needs and satisfaction at the heart of the strategy and at the same time, strengthen the organizational values, focusing on the professional development of its team members.
Before SII Romania, Iulia Surugiu worked for over six years within one of the largest software products companies in Romania, performing both management and technical consulting roles. In terms of academic background, she graduated as head of promotion the Faculty of Cybernetics at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, where she successfully completed a PhD program in Business Informatics, on the same specialization.
