The vehicles made in Romania are in demand on all markets where they are on sale, over 60 markets in the world, so that 2024 could end on the plus, with a new record, stated Adrian Sandu, general secretary and member in the Managing Council of the Romanian Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACAROM).According to him, in 2023 there was a growth of production, a new record of the automobile industry in Romania, with 513,000 units."And in the first three months of 2024 we still have an increase, even though there was a small decrease in March compared to March 2023. This is also where it comes to kind of settling the manufacturing flows at the two plants for the new models. We have an extra 7% for the first three months of 2024. We have a demand for vehicles made in Romania in all markets where they are sold - and there are not few - over 60 markets in the world, both for vehicles made at Dacia, in Mioveni, and for vehicles made by Ford Otosan, in Craiova", said Adrian Sandu, at the event "ZF Logistics, Transport and Automotive: Between electrification, nearshoring and omnichannel".
