SYMMETRICA marks 30 years of activity with 10 national factories and total investments of over 135 million euros

  First factory inaugurated in Veresti, Suceava county in 1999 Company business has grown four times in last 10 years Investments of about 50 million euros in the largest pavement and tiles factory in SE Europe.   Symmetrica, the leader of the local tile market has constantly developed in its 30 years of activity, benefitting from national coverage by means of its ten production units. The company announced an investment of 50 million euros in the largest concerete tile factory in South-Eastern Europe.   Symmetrica investments in its 30 years of activity exceed 135 million euros, of which 110 million euros were in the nine concrete tile factories and 25 million euros in the industrial equipment factory.   The company was set up in 1994, its main activity object being manufacturing and selling concrete tiles for constructions. Its own factory opened in Veresti, Suceava in 1999 and its production capacity expanded five years later.   Over 2010-2012, the company built four factories at Podu Iloaiei, Iasi county (2010), Bolintin Vale Giurgiu (2011), Prejmer Brasov and Cociu Bistri?a-N?s?ud (2012), while in 2015, the Symmetrica brand went through an ample repozitioning process. The expansion continued in 2018, when Symmetrica took over Somaco Holding factory in Doaga, Vrancea county and invested in the development of production capacities. The network was later completed with other factories, at Zimandu Nou, Arad (2021), Solca, Suceava (2022) and Ovidiu, Constanta (2023).   The activity of Symmetrica Tech factory focuses on design, manufacture and processing of metal parts for industrial equipment in varied domains such as naval, air and car fields, as well as in building material industry.   Investments recorded a constant sales progress, the company business figure recording a continuous increases from 68.1 million lei (15.4 million euros) in 2013 to 260 million lei (53.5 million euros) last year.   Of the specialized market, about 40% of production volumes went to infrastructure projects, while 25% went to logistic and industrial ones. The residential segment, including building materials and DIY stores represent 35% of overall sales.
