The investigation concerns various procedures from the period 2019-2024 related to some IT&C infrastructure projects and covers several companies active in the IT field in Romania, including 2 companies that are part of the Digital Infrastructure pillar of the Bittnet group: Dendrio Solutions SRL and Dataware Consulting", reads an announcement of the company sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Wednesday.According to the cited source, the investigation launched by the Competition Council is being carried out in compliance with the specific procedure conferred by law. In the framework of such actions, the competition authority pursues the collection of data and information for the purpose of performing all analyzes on the targeted markets and verifying the behavior of companies active in these market segments."Until the procedures are completed and competition violations are found through a reasoned decision, the investigated companies are not considered to be in a situation of non-fulfillment of their legal obligations. The Bittnet Group is not aware that any of the companies in its group are involved in any way in anti-competitive practices where it has offered in the public or private space, the group being actively involved in the implementation of some projects and procedures to comply with the competition rules. The Bittnet Group assures the authorities of its full cooperation in this investigation regarding the conduct of the procedures, once they will be communicated to him by the Competition Council", the cited announcement reads.
