The Social Democratic Party (PSD) - National Liberal Party (PNL) Electoral Alliance obtained 48.57% of the votes in the European parliamentary elections, the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) - 14.93%, and the United Right Alliance Save Romania Union (USR) - People's Movement Party (PMP) - Forta Dreptei - 8.7%, according to the provisional results presented on Wednesday night by the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC).BEC spokeswoman, Anamaria Revnic-Calugarita, announced that, regarding the results for the election of members from Romania to the European Parliament, following the centralization of 99.95% of the total of 19,870 polling stations organized in the country and abroad, the degree of participation in voting was 52.41%, and the total number of valid votes cast was 8,935,988.According to the centralized data, the situation of the votes in the European parliamentary election is presented as follows:*The Electoral Alliance PSD PNL obtained 48.57% (4,339,771 votes);*AUR obtained 14.93% (1,334,177 votes);*The United Right Alliance USR-PMP-Forta Dreptei obtained 8.7% (777,519 votes);*The Hungarian Democratic Union from Romania UDMR obtained 6.48% (579,142 votes);*The S.O.S.
