2024 European Parliament elections/Final results: PSD PNL - 48.55%; AUR - 14.93%; ADU – 8.71%

The PSD PNL electoral alliance won 48.55% of the votes in the European Parliament elections (19 MEPs), the AUR Alliance - 14.93% (six mandates), the United Right Alliance (ADU) USR - PMP - Force of Right - 8.71% (three mandates), according to the final results presented on Tuesday by the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC).Also, the Hungarian Democratic Union from Romania obtained 6.48% of the votes (two mandates), the S.O.S Romania Party won 5.03% (two MEP mandates), and Nicolae-Bogdanel Stefanuta, an independent candidate, got 3.08% (one mandate).BEC spokesperson, Anamaria Revnic-Calugarita, announced that, regarding the results for the election of members from Romania to the European Parliament, following the centralization of the 19,870 polling stations organized in the country and abroad, the total number of voters registered in the lists electoral votes that came to the polls was 9,444,894, the degree of voting participation was 52.40%, and the total number of valid votes cast - 8,942,629.According to the centralized data, the situation of the votes in the European parliamentary elections is presented as follows:* PSD PNL electoral alliance - 48.55% (4,341,686 votes);* AUR Alliance - 14.93% (1,334,905 votes);* United Right Alliance USR - PMP - Force of Right - 8.71% (778,901 votes);* The Hungarian Democratic Union from Romania - 6.48% (579,180 votes);* S.O.S. Party Romania - 5.03% (450,040 votes);* Party Renew the European Project of Romania (REPER) - 3.74% (334,703 votes);* Stefanuta Nicolae-Bogdanel, independent candidate - 3.08% (275,796 votes).Following the assignment of the 33 mandates allocated to Romania in the European Parliament, the situation is as follows:* Electoral Alliance PSD PNL - 19 mandates of MEPs;* AUR Alliance - six MEP mandates;* United Right Alliance USR - PMP - Force of Right - three mandates as a member of the European Parliament;* Hungarian Democratic Union from Romania - two mandates as a member of the European Parliament;* S.O.S Romania Party - two mandates as a member of the European Parliament;* Stefanuta Nicolae Bogdanel obtained a mandate as a member of the European Parliament.
