ForMin Odobescu welcomes start of EU accession negotiations of Ukraine, Republic of Moldova

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminita Odobescu, welcomes the start of the EU accession negotiations of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova and reiterates that the future of the two states is in the European Union.The head of Romanian diplomacy dedicated two messages, on the X platform, to the two neighboring states, in the context of her participation in the first EU-Ukraine and EU-Republic of Moldova Intergovernmental Conferences, in Luxembourg."Ukraine's future is in the EU. Taking a new essential step towards our common European future (...) Romania will continue to strongly support Ukraine's European accession path," Odobescu wrote on the social media platform.The Romanian minister appreciated that, in the case of the two countries, the start of negotiations is "a fully deserved success rewarding impressive efforts"."Romania stands by Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova in their efforts for advancing EU negotiations", Odobescu said on the social network.
