Romania to be able to export dairy and fish products to China

Romania will be able to export dairy products and fish products to the Chinese market, as two protocols to this effect were signed on Tuesday in Beijing, the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) informs."Two protocols signed today in Beijing will make it possible to export Romanian dairy and fish products to the Chinese market. A delegation from our country is in the Chinese capital between June 30 and July 4 to expand the economic cooperation partnership between the two countries," reads a release issued by the institution.The ANSVSA head Alexandru Bociu signed the Protocol for dairy products exported from Romania to the People's Republic of China and the Protocol on inspection, quarantine and sanitary requirements for wild aquatic products intended for export from Romania to the People's Republic of China.This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the signing of the Joint Declaration for the establishment of a broad partnership of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, ANSVSA announced.On April 21-22, the head of ANSVSA welcomed a delegation from the People's Republic of China, consisting of representatives of the General Administration of Customs, led by Vice-Minister Lyu Weihong. Discussions, in addition to the main topic of cooperation between the two countries in the customs area, also focused on issues related to sanitary and phytosanitary procedures, respectively market access for agricultural products.
