Gov't approves humanitarian aid for civil population in Gaza Strip

The Government approved on Thursday the granting of emergency humanitarian aid worth about Ron 8.5 million for the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, Executive Spokesman Mihai Constantin informs."Romania is still part of the international community providing humanitarian aid to the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. Food products and shelter items, worth around 8.5 million lei, will be sent to the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, with the logistical support of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, in coordination with the specific instruments of the European Union and in collaboration with the specialist agencies of the United Nations," Constantin told a press conference at the Victoria Palace.
