In case some devices are outdated they will have to be replaced by newer models.   The report is based on data collected from 3.8 millionsmart homes in the whole world, protected by Netgear Armor powered by Bitdefender. Thus, Bitdefender specialists analysed 50 million IoT devices which generate 9.1 billion security warnings to discover exploited vulnerabilities and attack types.   Bitdefender solutions for smart solutions block around 2.5 million threats/day or 1,736 threats per minute.
