Ed Sheeran brings his Mathematics Tour to Bucharest's National Arena on Saturday

September 19, 2024

Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour will arrive in Bucharest on Saturday with a new 360-degree stage concept which will allow spectators at the National Arena venue to see the dynamic content of the show from every seat in the house.Fellow British singer-songwriter Calum Scott is the special guest at the concert."'Mathematics' plays out on a central stage with a revolving rim allowing 360° visibility for (and of) Sheeran, and four platforms for members of his band who - in a first for Sheeran - occasionally accompany him, each at the bottom of six 'masts' that act as counterweights in a sophisticated pulley rigging setup for a 42-ton halo above the main stage. As if that wasn't enough, pyro also figures heavily into the spectacle, with flamethrowers used multiple times, culminating with a fireworks display as a finale," the organizers state.Sheeran's Mathematics World Tour began in March 2022 and covers all genres - from rock to hip-hop, from country to pop, and love ballads to head bangers. The Mathematics is a combined tour of each of his albums. The artist announced that he would not use a band for the majority of the concert and would instead accompany himself on a 5-loop station and different guitars.Access for children under 6 years old to the concert is not allowed. Children with disabilities and their companions get free access to the show, within the available seating capacity. Adults with severe (level 1) or marked (level 2) disability and their companions will have free access within the available seating capacity. In order to enter the show, the concertgoers must have the purchased tickets, the reservation confirmation and a valid photo ID on them. The British artist's next show will take place on August 31 at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria.
