The historical minimum was reached in 2003 at the value of 1,500 mc/s, states ANAR.The sectors on the Danube river and its branches (Macin, Borcea, Chilia, Tulcea and Sulina), related to 49 localities, are in the warning-warning phase.Also, 42 sectors out of the 120 drought monitoring sections (relevant for water uses) are below the minimum flows necessary to satisfy water requirements.According to the quoted source, at this time, for the Cernavoda nuclear power plant, there are no problems regarding the water supply.
