We are cancelling the interests and penalties for those with tax debts if they pay these arrears by November 25. But we are also taking a measure for the first time since the Revolution [1989, editor's note]: we are also rewarding the correct taxpayers, with taxes up to date. From the following month they will receive a 3% bonus, so they pay less to the state. We consider that this is a natural way to show a sign of appreciation for all honest taxpayers in this country," said the prime minister at the beginning of the government meeting.
