Turkish Culture Month from September 11-30 at Palace of Parliament

 The "Constantin Brancusi" Exhibition Hall of the Palace of Parliament is hosting a painting exhibition and a series of workshops of traditional Turkish arts, within the Turkish Culture Month, organized by the Yunus Emre Institute, until 30 September."For three weeks, workshops of 'Turkish cuisine', the art of water painting - Ebru, modeling of fruits made of soap, ceramics, glass modeling workshop, patchwork and making flowers from silk cocoons there will be organized," reads a press release sent on Monday.The opening ceremony, which will take place on September 11, will include a violin recital by the artist Alina Horez and a traditional dance performance.A different Turkish art will be presented each day of the event and guests will have the opportunity to take part in organized workshops."We will present a part of our rich and ancient culture and arts. With the support of Kral Catering, as part of the gastronomy workshop we will prepare together with the participants various Turkish dishes and serve them to all the guests. We are expecting both our Romanian and Turkish friends to this cultural celebration, where the Turkish Ambassador in Bucharest, Ozgur Kivanc Altan, will also be present," said the director of Yunus Emre Institute in Romania, Mustafa Yildiz, quoted in the press release.The Turkish Culture Month workshops are free of charge.The calendar of events can be found on the social media accounts and website of Yunus Emre Institute.
