Le Films de Cannes a Bucarest XV opens with Megalopolis by Francis Ford Copola

The expected film Megalopolis by the famous director Francis Ford Copola, will open the 15th edition of the festival Les Films de Cannes a Bucarest on October 25 at Cineplexx Baneasa.   This year's festival will bring a varied selection of captivating films including: Bird, an emptional movie directed by Andrea Arnold, known as a master of British film making and three times winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes. The Seed of the Sacred Fig, the latest movie by Iranian director Mohammad Rasoulof, the winner of the Special Jury Prize and Fipresci prize. The Shrouds by David Cro, a psychological thriller exploring the topic of mourning and human connections, with Diane Kruger and Vincent Cassel in the main roles. Directors Sean Baker, winner of Palme d'Or for Anora and Miguel Gomes, winner of Best Direction prize for Grand Tour, will be present via video call for the Q& A session, following the presentation of their films.
