Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation - Nedland Kultur, Norway to launch

A project to support contemporary art and emerging artists will be launched on Thursday by the Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation, a cultural initiative developed in partnership with Nedland Kultur from Norway.''The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation, as promoter, is launching "Talent 35 - Supporting and promoting emerging artists and contemporary art", a bilateral cultural initiative developed in partnership with Nedland Kultur from Norway. The initiative will contribute to supporting contemporary art and emerging artists, raising awareness of cultural diversity and strengthening cooperation and cultural exchange between Romania and Norway," reads a press release sent on Wednesday.The launch conference of the bilateral initiative ''Talent 35'' will take place on Thursday, from 12:00, in an online session.Emerging artists, cultural institutions, stakeholders and other key target groups will have the opportunity to find out about the proposed objectives and planned activities and how they will be realized.Through this initiative, the experts involved in the project and 60 young emerging artists from Romania and Norway will exchange know-how, best practices and creative and cultural experiences. A classical music concert and an exhibition of contemporary visual art will be organized with the participation of 35 artists, and an album of selected works will be published.The project will run from November 2024 to February 2025 and contributes to supporting contemporary art and emerging artists, as well as to promoting cultural diversity, cooperation and cultural exchange between Romania and Norway to an audience of 1,000 people, the cited source specifies."Talent 35" pursues the following activities: an exchange of know-how and best practices in the creative and cultural field in Norway by three experts from the project team; an exchange of creative and cultural experiences between emerging artists from Romania and Norway for 60 participants, through online sessions; organization of a concert involving 10 young emerging young musical artists and the participation of an audience of 800 people; realization of a contemporary visual art exhibition involving 25 young emerging visual artists and the participation of an audience of 200 people; publication of a contemporary art album in 400 copies.The bilateral initiative "Talent 35 - Supporting and promoting emerging artists and contemporary art" is implemented by the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Culture, as RO-CULTURA Program Operator, in partnership with Arts and Culture Norway, as program partner, and financed with the support of EEA Grants 2014 - 2021 through the National Bilateral Fund, managed by the National Contact Point of the Ministry of European Investments and Projects.The total value of the bilateral initiative is 618.840,41 RON (124.355,03 EUR).  (Photo:https://www.frmr.ro/stiri-fundatia-principesa-margareta-a-romaniei/)
