Gold prices hit a new all-time high of 415.3204 lei/gram; the leu appreciated against the euro

The gold gram appreciated on Friday by 9.4105 lei (2.32%) getting to a quotation of 415.3204 lei, from 405.9099 lei as the National Bank of Romania (BNR)had announced, registering again a record value. National currency appreciated on Friday, by comparison to Euro, which was calculated by the BNR at 4.9759 lei, dropping by 0.07 bani ( - 0.01%), against the previous quotation of 4.9766 lei.The leu lost ground against the US dollar, which was quoted at 4.7742 lei, up 4.25 bani (0.90%) compared to Thursday's 4.7317 lei.   The national currency also depreciated against the Swiss franc, calculated by the NBR at 5.3721 lei, up by 1.86 bani (0.35%) from 5.3535 lei, the previous quotation.
