Presidential elections 2024/ BEC – final results after processing votes from all polling stations

The Central Election Office (BEC) released on Tuesday the final results of the first round of presidential elections, after centralizing data from the 19,919 polling stations opened in the country and abroad.   Thus, following the recording of all centralized documents with voting results from county election offices, Bucharest sector offices, the election office for polling stations abroad, the situation of votes obtained by candidates was the following:   Calin Georgescu (independent)- 2,120,401 valid votes, representing 22.94%;   Elena Lasconi (USR) – 1,772,500 valid votes, representing 19.18%;   Marcel Ciolacu (PSD) – 1,769,760 valid votes, representing 19.15%;   George Simion (AUR) – 1,281,325 valid votes, representing 13.86%;   Nicolae Ciuca (PNL)- 811,952 valid votes representing 8.79%;   Mircea Geoana (independent) – 583,898 valid votes representing 6.32%:   Hunor Kelemen (UDMR) - 416,353 valid votes representing 4.50%;   Cristian Diaconescu (independent) – 286,842 valid votes representing 3.10%;   Cristian Terhes (PNCR) – 95,782 valid votes representing 1.04%;   Ana Birchall (independent) – 42,853 valid votes representing 0.46%;   Ludovic Orban (Right Wing Force) – 20.089 valid votes representing 0.22%;   Sebastian Constiantin Popescu (New Romania Party) – 14,683 valid votes, representing 0.16%;   Alexandra Pacuraru (ADN Party) – 14.502 valid votes representing 0.16%;   Silviu Predoiu (PLAN) – 11,246 valif votes, representing 0.12%.
