The French from CDS Groupe are coming to Romania

  The French company CDS Groupe, a supplier of booking and payment solutions in the hotel business, in full expansion in Europe, ambitious in become a leader on the continent, have come to Romania, data analysed by Profit.ro show.   The branch, based in Timisoara, will act as touroperator.   In November, CDS Groupe purchased the Italian company SIAP, a supplier of software solutions for traveling and tourism. “This purchase consolidates our position of leader and corresponds to our ambition to obtain 1 billion euros from hotel bookings for business trips in the next 3 years,” said Ziad Minkara, CEO and founder of CDS Groupe.   CDS intends to make new purchases in Europe in order to become the main European technological integrator in the hotel industry and business trips.   The company, founded 20 years ago, bought in 2022 the booking platform Goelett and a year later entered the German market, with another purchase (Crporate Rate Club). Now, theCDS network covers France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Poland and Croatia.   The company has 350 employees and over 1,500 direct customers and partner travel agencies, with a volume of hotel bookings of 800 million euros.
