Fees and taxes can be paid with the CEC Bank Internet Banking and Mobile Banking apps

February 25, 2025

CEC Bank offers now its clients the opportunity to pay their fees and taxes to public institutions enrolled in the Ghiseul.ro platform with the help of Mobile Banking and Internet Banking applications.   “CEC Bank, through the Mobile Banking and Internet Banking platforms, offers direct access to the current situation of fees and taxes owed to the authorities, by querying the information from the Ghi?eul.ro platform, and thus allowing their payment 100% online. Local taxes and fees – such as those for land and buildings, car taxes, but also fines – can be paid with a simple click, the amounts owed being displayed broken down, in the form of a list. Very important – CEC Bank does not charge commissions for the payment of fees, taxes and fines through Mobile Banking and Internet Banking”, said Mugur Podaru, Director of the Remote Operations Department, CEC Bank.   To be able to benefit from this service, you must have a valid account in the Ghiseul.ro system. Based on the Personal Numeric Code (CNP) of any account holder, existing in the CEC Bank database and automatically picked up by the bank’s Mobile Banking or Internet Banking applications, the subsequent information in the Ghi?eul.ro system is queried. As a result, customers can choose to pay all or part of the amounts owed. In the case of payment of fees and taxes before 31.03.2025, customers benefit from a discount of up to 10%.   If someone does not have an account on Ghiseul.ro, it can also be opened through the Mobile Banking and Internet Banking platforms of CEC Bank.
