He is a member of the Slovenian delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), coordinator and initiator of numerous educational and artistic projects to combat antisemitism, xenophobia, radicalization and hate speech, an active promoter of inclusion and tolerance, and of preserving the memory of Holocaust victims.Minister Hurezeanu highlighted on this occasion Romania's firm commitment to promoting and supporting research, education and commemoration of the Holocaust and the need for innovative approaches aimed at combating the negative phenomena that continue to affect our societies and democratic values.The event was attended by ambassadors of IHRA member countries, members of the Interministerial Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the National Strategy for Preventing and Combating Antisemitism, Xenophobia, Radicalization and Hate Speech, academia representatives, high-ranking officials and representatives of state and cultural institutions, along with representatives of the 'Ambassador Mihnea Constantinescu' Association.
