Algeria is interested in importing from Romania up to 300,000 sheep, said the National Sanitary Veterinary Authority for Food Safety (ANSVSA) , following the meeting between president Alexandru Bociu and the Algerian ambassador Abdelmadjid Naamoune. “Essential topics for the collaboration between Romania and Algeria, such as the import of live stock were discussed during the meeting. Algeria is interested in importing up to 300,000 sheep in the context in which it imported over 30,000 sheep in 2024,” ANSVSA mentioned on Facebook. Another topic analysed by the two officials was the export of cereals in the next period of time. “Collaboration between our countries continues to grow, consolidating economic and commercial ties,” said ANSVSA representatives on Facebook.
