Interim President Ilie Bolojan participates in Three Seas Summit Warsaw 2025

Interim President Ilie Bolojan will participate in the Three Seas Summit Warsaw 2025 on Tuesday.Ilie Bolojan will deliver a speech in the first part of the day, in the segment dedicated to heads of state and government, at the Three Seas Initiative Business Forum.The interim president will then participate, together with several heads of state from the region, in the high-level meeting to be organized at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.Ilie Bolojan arrived in the Polish capital on Monday evening, when he is invited to the official dinner hosted by Andrzej Duda.The summit in Poland marks ten years since the implementation of this initiative, and discussions will focus on regional interconnectivity in transportation and energy, as well as current security issues.The Three Seas Initiative is a flexible and informal political platform at presidential level, bringing together the 12 EU Member States between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia). Greece became the 13th country to join the Three Seas Initiative two years ago.The initiative aims to increase convergence and cohesion, while reducing the economic development gap between different areas and EU Member States, by increasing interconnectivity in the region, in the fields of energy, transport and digital.
