Ilie Bolojan discusses with representatives of Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce about supporting German investments in Romania

Acting president Ilie Bolojan received on Wednesday, at the Cotroceni Palace, the delegation of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Romania), in a meeting dedicated to consolidating bilateral economic relations and supporting German investments in our country, the Presidential Administration informed."The discussions focused on the potential of German investments in our country, on how they can be expanded, but also on broader economic issues. Both sides emphasized the need for a predictable economic climate and policies that encourage long-term investments," the cited source said.On the occasion of the meeting, the interim president Ilie Bolojan presented the general director and member of the Board of Directors of AHK Romania, Sebastian Metz, with the Order of "Industrial and Commercial Merit" in the rank of Officer conferred by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a sign of "appreciation for the special merits in the over 20 years in which it played a decisive role in consolidating strategic Romanian-German trade and investment relations, actively involved in supporting companies, in improving business conditions in Romania and in affirming the Federal Republic of Germany as the main foreign investor in the economy of our country".The head of state signed the decree on Monday to decorate the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  (Photo:https://www.presidency.ro/)
