The fourth edition of Bucharest Opera Festival, which will alternate opera, ballet, musical, musical-rock opera and opera in concert presented by several companies among which two from abroad – The National Theatre for Ballet and Opera ‘Maria Biesu” from Kishinev and Opera from Ruse will take place in 15 to 24 June.The National Opera in Bucharest will be joined on the festival programme by the Romanian National Opera in Iasi, the Romanian National Opera in Timisoara, the Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca, the Opera in Brasov, the 'Nae Leonard' Opera and Ballet Theatre in Galati and the Radio Chamber Orchestra. More than 1,500 musicians, dancers, artistic and technical staff will be present on stage, in the pit and backstage at the Bucharest Opera Festival 2025, as in previous years, the event will contribute to making Bucharest a privileged destination for cultural tourism.
