Romania participates May 15 through 18 with a stand in the 30th edition of the Book World Prague Fair, with playwright Elise Wilk, poet Adrian Alui Gheorghe and prose writer Adina Rosetti among the guests, the organizer of the stand, the Romanian Ministry of Culture announced on Wednesday.The moderation and translation of the events will be provided by ICR Prague through Libuse Valentova, Jitka Lukesova and Jarmila Horakova.At the invitation of the Connecting Emerging Literary Artists Project, authors Ioana Maria Stancescu and Dana Grigorcea will participate in a series of events at the fair.The award ceremony of the European Union Prize for Literature will take place on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. at the Bohemia pavilion; Romanian prose writer Bogdan Cretu is also shortlisted for this honor with his novel "Less Than Love", a book about the heavy-handed impact of totalitarianism on everything from love to family, but also a plea for memory.The Prague Children's Library is organizing two events on Saturday, at the association's headquarters: from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. - "Children's Stories with... Adina Rosetti", and from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. - "Literary Evening" with Dana Grigorcea.The partners of the Ministry of Culture in organizing the Romanian presence at this event are the Romanian Cultural Institute through the National Book Center, the Romanian Publishers Association and Diasporaciteste.eu.The Prague Book Fair is one of the most important events of its kind in Central Europe, also having a component dedicated to professionals in the field. The motto of this year's edition is "30! Energy of the Youth - Wisdom of Books!"
