Almost a third (32.2%) of Romanians would vote for AUR (Alliance for the Union of Romanians), 14.7% for PSD (Social Democratic Party), and 13.5% for PNL (National Liberal Party), if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, according to an opinion poll conducted by INSCOP Research.The research shows that, if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, 32.2% of the Romanians surveyed would vote for AUR, 14.7% for PSD, 13.5% for PNL, and 10.2% for USR. As many as of 3.8% of all respondents would vote for UDMR, 2.8% for SENS, 2.7% for POT, and 2.1% for S.O.S. Romania. Also, 1.3% of the total sample expressed their preference for an independent, and 1.1% for another party.Compared to those who expressed a preference for a party on the list, regardless of whether they declared that they would definitely vote or not (84.4% of the total sample), 38.1% would opt for AUR, 17.4% - PSD, 16% - PNL, and 12.2% - USR.Compared to those who expressed a preference for a party on the list and declared that they would definitely vote (67.1% of the total sample), 38.3% would vote for AUR, 16.6% for PNL, 15.2% for PSD, and 13.3% for USR. 4.7% of voters would vote for UDMR, 4.1% for SENS, 3.5% for POT, and 1.8% for S.O.S. Romania.Regarding the estimated turnout in the parliamentary elections, 11.5% of those surveyed said they definitely would not go, and 74.2% said they definitely would go.The INSCOP Research survey was conducted between May 26 and 30. Data were collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), the sample size being 1,150 people, representative of significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) aged 18 and over.
