According to the Informat.ro - INSCOP Research Barometer, published on Tuesday , 29.7% of Romanians totally agree with Nicusor Dan's activity as President of Romania, and 23.5% somewhat agree, bringing total positive support to 53.2%. Meanwhile, 5.9% somewhat disagree, and 35.9% totally disagree, resulting in a total negative rating of 41.8%. 5% of respondents either did not know or chose not to answer.INSCOP Research Director Remus Stefureac underlined that the data shows 53.2% of respondents support Nicusor Dan's activity as President, with much higher backing among Save Romania Union (USR) voters (87.8%), National Liberal Party (PNL) voters (80%), and even Social Democratic Party (PSD) voters (66%), but very low support among Alliance for Romanians' Union (AUR) voters (23.2%)."Education level significantly influences perception: people with higher education indicate a 76.8% approval rate for the president's activity, while those with only primary education show just 36.3% approval. Residents of large urban areas and Bucharest are more favorable (65-68%) compared to those in rural areas (45.8%)," said Remus Stefureac. He added: "The main challenge for President Nicusor Dan's term is to expand support from the urban-educated electorate toward more conservative, lower-income, and vulnerable segments in rural areas."The data was collected between June 20-26, 2025, using a questionnaire-based interview method. The research used CATI methodology (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing), with a simple, stratified sample of 1,150 people, representative across key socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) for Romania's non-institutionalised population aged 18 and over. The maximum margin of error is ?2.9%, with a confidence level of 95%.The Informat.ro - INSCOP Research Barometer is a monthly opinion poll conducted by INSCOP Research, commissioned by the news platform Informat.ro, in partnership with the Strategic Thinking Group think tank.
