Raiffeisen Bank Romania announces that it has established a new organizational structure, designed to support growth plans across all customer segments and to adapt more efficiently to the current needs of the Romanian business environment. The new organizational model involves the creation of an SME Division that will manage the relationship and services offered to the customer segment consisting of small and medium-sized enterprises. This change comes at a time when the business environment is evolving rapidly, and the reorganization has as its main objective the strengthening of the bank’s capacity to offer fast, flexible financial solutions adapted to the realities faced by SMEs, in an increasingly dynamic and unpredictable macro-economic context, the press release states. “SMEs are a major engine of the economy. Through this reorganization we want to strengthen our position as a trusted partner of entrepreneurs and companies. It is a transformation designed not only strategically, but with respect for the effort of those who support the real economy. The new structure helps us to be where we are needed, with personalized services, faster decisions and a deeper understanding of current challenges”, stated Zdenek Romanek, President & CEO of Raiffeisen Bank Romania. The new organizational structure will include seven distinct divisions: President Division; Corporate & Investment Banking Division; Retail Division; SME Division; Risk Division; Operations & IT Division; Financial Control and Accounting Division.
