The project "George Enescu - Romanian Poem: Immersive Experience" will be presented at the Museum of Immersive New Art - MINA, on Tuesday, the 144th anniversary of the great composer's birth.According to the event's Facebook page, there will be six successive performances of the project, starting at 6:30 PM, every half hour, with the last one at 9:00 PM. Access is free, based on prior reservation on Eventim.ro.The work "Romanian Poem op.1", composed by Enescu at the age of 16, is considered by musicologist Pascal Bentoiu as the first large-scale Romanian creation to penetrate the great European musical centers. This immersive screening brings the public a special opportunity to (re)discover the Romanian spirit of Enescu's music in a space dedicated to new forms of artistic expression, specifies ARTEXIM, the organizer of the event."George Enescu - The Romanian Poem: Immersive Experience" is based on a historical recording from the 1990s, conducted by Horia Andreescu, made available by Electrecord, and proposes a multisensory experience bringing together, among other things, images from the "George Enescu" National Museum in a complex digital version, with video and animation processing, made by Les Ateliers Nomad.The project is part of the George Enescu International Festival, an event held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania.
