Consolidated general budget arrears fell by almost 4% in July 2025

  The general consolidated budget arrears decreased by 3.89% in July 2025, compared to the previous month, up to 561.6 million lei, from 584.3 million lei in June, according to the data published on the website of the Ministry of Finance (MF).   Arrears over 90 days increased by 28.21%, from 108.8 million lei to 139.5 million lei, while those over 120 days decreased by 21.76%, from 313.5 million lei, in June 2025, to 245.3 million lei in July. Arrears over 360 days registered an advance of 9.13%, from 162 million lei, up to 176.8 million lei. According to the quoted sources, as regards local budgets, the arrears decreased by 3.5% from 551.69 million lei in June 2025 to 532.4 million lei in July 2025.Arrears over 90 days increased by 32.38%, to 130 million lei, those over 120 days decreased by 22.04%, to 235.6 million lei, and arrears over 360 days increased by 10.24%, to 166.8 million lei. In the 'State budget and autonomous' chapter, arrears decreased from 32.6 million lei in June 2025 to 29.2 million lei in July 2025 (-10.44%). Arrears over 90 days registered a decline of 10.38%, reaching 9.5 million lei. Those over 120 days decreased by 14.16%, to 9.7 million lei, and the highest of 360 days decreased to 9.9 million lei (minus 7.48%).
