The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament, Milton Dick, will pay a visit to Bucharest October 12-15, 2025, at the head of a delegation made up of five representatives of the Federal Parliament. This is the highest level visit from Australia to Romania in recent decades, according to the Romanian Embassy in Canberra. In preparation for the visit, the Romanian ambassador to Australia, Radu Gabriel Safta, had a meeting on Thursday with Dick to discuss aspects of the visit of the Australian delegation to Romania, which is scheduled to meet senior Romanian officials.
