Romania promoted as tourist destination at Poland's largest tourism fair, TT Warsaw 2025

  The Ministry of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEDAT) is showcasing Romania as a travel destination at TT Warsaw 2025 in Poland, together with 24 co-exhibiting partners, within a 105-square-metre national pavilion.According to a press release from the ministry sent on Friday, the TT Warsaw 2025: International Travel and Tourism Trade Fair ? Poland's most important travel industry event ?took place between 10 and 12 October 2025 in Warsaw.Now in its 31st edition, the event brings together over 20,000 visitors and exhibitors from more than 50 countries each year, providing a key platform for promoting the world's most attractive tourist destinations.Visitors to Romania's stand will be able to discover the country's beauty and authenticity through wine and traditional food tastings, as well as artistic performances by the "Crisana" Ensemble from Oradea. Throughout the fair, promotional videos showcasing Romania's tourism diversity ? from mountains and traditional villages to historic cities and festive events such as Christmas markets ? will be screened on video displays within the stand.Poland remains one of the most important source markets for Romanian tourism, the release notes. In 2024, more than 100,000 Polish tourists visited Romania ? a 16% increase compared to the previous year. Most were drawn to mountain regions and major cities, attracted by the authenticity of the destinations and Romanian hospitality.Moreover, direct flights operated by LOT and Wizz Air make travel between Poland and Romania's main destinations fast and convenient, turning Romania into an ideal choice for city breaks and active holidays."Romania holds exceptional potential for the Polish market. We are a nearby, accessible yet surprisingly diverse destination that offers exactly what Polish tourists are looking for: nature, tradition and authenticity," said Alexandru Badea, representative of the Ministry of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, as quoted in the statement.Romania has been participating in TT Warsaw since 2009 and was even the partner country at the 2023 edition. The key objectives this year include strengthening cooperation with Polish industry partners and enhancing Romania's appeal as an authentic and diverse tourist destination in line with current European market trends.
