United Arab Emirates company shows interest to invest in Constanta Port

One of the largest port operators in the United Arab Emirates is interested in investing in the seaport, a delegation from this company currently visiting areas with potential for investments in the Constanta Port, the National Company Maritime Ports Administration (CNAPM) Constanta informs."Following the visit of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Ciprian Serban, to the United Arab Emirates, carried out last month at the invitation of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, the regional director of the Emirati company, Abdulaziz Zayed AlShamsi, accompanied by his technical team, visited the port of Constanta.   Discussions took place at the headquarters of the National Company Maritime Ports Administration SA, where the general director, Mihai Teodorescu, presented the most recent investments, as well as the development plans for the port of Constanta," it is shown on the Facebook page of CNAPM Constanta.According to the same source, representatives of Abu Dhabi Ports Group expressed their interest in carrying out investments in the port of Constanta, with an important emphasis on the development of projects in the area of piers 3 and 4.At the same time, a partnership was outlined to increase cargo traffic.After the discussions, the delegation, accompanied by representatives of CN APM SA, visited on-site areas with investment potential in the port of Constanta.The visit is part of the measures established by Romania and the United Arab Emirates to develop collaboration in the field of transport and maritime infrastructure between the two countries.
