Romania to participate in World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris

 Romania will participate, alongside 21 other countries, in the sixth edition of the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), which will take place in Paris from 4 to 6 November, the French Embassy in Bucharest announced.The event is one of the most important international platforms dedicated to the civil nuclear industry, bringing together key players from across the world.For this edition, organisers estimate over 1,000 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors from more than 80 countries.Under the umbrella of national pavilions, 22 countries will be represented, including France, the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom (with two pavilions) and Romania, alongside other leading figures in the global nuclear sector.WNE 2025 will be organised around two main themes, reflecting current challenges in the energy and climate areas:* Nuclear Today and Tomorrow - the development and acceleration of nuclear programmes, financing strategies, the use of artificial intelligence, standardisation and emerging technologies such as nuclear fusion, as well as professional training and attracting new generations to the sector;* Electricity & Beyond - the extended applications of nuclear energy beyond electricity production, in areas such as medicine, agriculture, space industry, hydrogen production, water desalination and industrial heat generation.
