Over 5,000 soldiers from ten NATO countries participating in Dacian Fall 2025 exercise

Over 5,000 soldiers with approximately 1,200 pieces of military equipment from ten NATO countries - Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain - are participating throughout November 13, in the multinational exercise "Dacian Fall 2025" (DAFA 25), held in Romania and Bulgaria.According to the Romanian Defence Ministry (MApN), the media are invited on Saturday morning at the Cincu Shooting Range, Brasov County, to a portion of the drill dedicated to multinational training within the "Dacian Fall 2025" exercise, carried out by soldiers from France, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal and Romania.The event will include a guided tour of the range, during which journalists will be able to observe dynamic moments of training and will receive explanations from the military on the objectives of the exercise, the level of interoperability and cooperation between the allied forces.According to MApN, planned by the Multinational Division Command South-East (HQ MND-SE), in Bucharest, the exercise is taking place simultaneously in the training ranges of Cincu, Smardan, Capu Midia, Babadag, Bogata, Alba Iulia, Hanu Conachi, Giarmata and Cartisoara.DAFA 25 aims at the operational integration of the participating forces provided by the contributing nations - mainly France and Romania - and marks the full transition of the NATO Battle Groups Romania and Bulgaria to brigade level.NATO exercises, including "Dacian Fall 2025", are exclusively defensive in nature and are carried out in full compliance with Romania's international obligations.
