Contakt Express Logistik S.A. announces the approval of the Prospectus by the ASF and the launch of the initial public offering between November 12 and December 3, 2025

November 7, 2025

Contakt Express Logistik S.A., the Romanian market leader in accessories for phones and tablets, announces the approval of its Prospectus by the Financial Supervisory Authority and the launch of its initial public offering. Following the successful closing of the offering, the company will be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, on the AeRO Market, under the symbol CTK. The authorised consultant assisting the company in the listing process is Goldring S.A.
„Being listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange is a natural step in Contakt's development. After two decades of growth, this stage allows us to consolidate our leading position and accelerate our expansion in Romania and abroad. We are a company born in retail, but with a clear focus on technology and digitalisation”, says Darius Petric, cofounder and president of the Board of Directors at Contakt.
Contakt shares are offered for subscription between November 12 and December 3, 2025, at a price range of 4.3–5.2 lei/share, with a quotation step of 0.3 lei at any of the price levels [4.3], [4.6], [4.9], [5.2]. The total value of the offer is between RON 15.7 and 19 million.
The offering will include both a sale of existing shares held by the founding shareholders (3,060,000 existing shares offered by the three current shareholders) and a sale of newly issued shares as part of a capital increase (600,000 newly issued shares). The success threshold is the sale of 3,100,000 shares.
„Getting closer to the capital market is a strategic move for Contakt to tap into its growth potential through successive financings on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as it builds its visibility among investors and strengthens its position as a solid business in rapid expansion. We have actively contributed to achieving this goal and are excited about the prospects that this future listing will bring for the continued growth and development of all parties involved”, adds Flavian-Cătălin Pah, cofounder Cabat&Pah Investments and CEO Carpathia Investing Club, consultant of Contakt Express Logisitik S.A.
Founded in 2002 in Timișoara, the brand has grown over two decades to a network of 235 stores in all major cities in Romania, with over 98% coverage in shopping malls. Contakt operates a mobile app with over 150,000 active users and owns three brands of its own, Mobico, Urban Gadget, and Urban Protekt. Its portfolio also includes partnerships with international manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, Karl Lagerfeld, Guess, Spigen, Cellularline, and PanzerGlass.
The funds raised from the new share issue will support expansion and in-house production
The funds raised through the capital market will be used as follows: 60% for expansion into foreign markets and strategic acquisitions (opening or acquiring new stores or taking over locations owned by competitors), 30% for diversifying business lines (launching services for the protection and security of personal data stored on mobile phones, subscriptions for the purchase of personalized products and services), and 10% for research and development and in-house production (manufacturing phone accessories under its own brand and producing personalized accessories).
„Contakt is an example of Romanian entrepreneurship built over time, with a solid model and consistent results. The company's listing comes at a favourable time for specialised retail, and investors will have access to a profitable company with high growth potential”, says Virgil Zahan, General Manager of Goldring S.A.
Expansion plans and in-house production
Contakt plans to develop its own production capacities for accessories marketed under the Urban Gadget and Urban Protekt brands, and to relocate production to the European Union partially.
The company is also considering international expansion through strategic partnerships and the acquisition of commercial space in European markets.
„We want the Contakt brand to become a European benchmark in the field of accessories for phones and smart devices. Romania remains the operational centre, but we aim to expand into European markets in the coming years”, adds Cosmin Preda, cofounder of the company.
In 2024, the company recorded a turnover of 128.7 million lei, up 10.7% from the previous year, and a net profit of 14.2 million lei, corresponding to a net margin of approximately 11%. Between 2021 and 2024, Contakt had an average annual growth rate of 22%, consolidating its leading position in the local market for phone and tablet accessories.
By the end of 2025, the company estimates a turnover of 138 million lei and an EBITDA of approximately 22 million lei, up from 20.2 million in 2024.
