Infrastructure: Animawings Launches World-First All-Inclusive In-Flight Services

December 2, 2025

Amid an expected growing trend of low-cost travel, Animawings, the 100% Romanian full-service airline, has unveiled a groundbreaking concept in aviation: the world premiere of an all-inclusive onboard experience. This innovative offering brings the convenience and comfort of a Light Business concept to more affordable prices, allowing passengers to enjoy an elevated flying experience without breaking the bank. For just an additional €35 for a carry-on bag or €75 for checked luggage, travelers can choose the all-inclusive option on any Animawings flight.   The all-inclusive package offers a range of benefits designed to enhance the journey. Passengers receive a hot meal, unlimited soft drinks and hot beverages, snacks, and a limited allowance of alcohol (up to four servings, including wine, spritz, or beer). The package also includes a premium seat, priority check-in and boarding, and additional advantages in the event of flight cancellations. With this new concept, Animawings combines affordability with comfort, redefining the onboard experience for modern travelers.   “We want as many Romanians as possible to enjoy this concept with Animawings, and the same goes for international travelers – so that the first thing they experience about Romania is this ‘wow’ factor. Our goal is to always be innovative, to think outside the box, and to introduce things that have never been done in aviation before. We aim to be different, to reinvent ourselves every six months, and to continuously reconfigure our routes,” Marius Pandel, CEO of Animawings, told a press conference, emphasizing their commitment to redefining air travel and delivering unique experiences.   Specifically, through these two new packages, PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE and PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS, Animawings is introducing, for the first time, a truly all-inclusive offer in the travel experience aboard its aircraft. At the same time, the company is among the few airlines in the world to provide such integrated packages, in an industry where the general trend is to minimize the benefits included in a standard ticket.   “We are introducing, most likely for the first time worldwide, this all-inclusive concept at 10,000 meters altitude – a concept that is already popular and highly sought after in the hotel industry. We created these all-inclusive packages because we see more and more clearly that passengers are looking for integrated solutions and a worry-free experience. We increasingly observe that travelers feel nostalgic for the aviation of the past, while the specific commercial offerings in the market are almost nonexistent. While many airlines fragment services and reduce benefits, we have chosen to go in the opposite direction and bring back the idea of flying as a pleasurable, comfortable, and experiential journey, not just a way to get from one point to another. With these packages, we offer a light business concept at an affordable cost, delivering modern standards comparable to what international premium airlines provide,” Pandel pointed out. On international routes, Animawings introduces the PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE and PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS packages, designed to simplify travel decisions and provide clear, predictable costs. PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE includes a small 4 kg cabin bag and a larger 8 kg cabin bag, a hot or cold meal menu, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a package of sweet and savory snacks, premium seat selection, priority check-in and boarding, and the possibility to make certain changes to the booking before travel if plans change. All these benefits are available with an upgrade of €35 per person, per flight segment, whereas the total cost of purchasing these services individually would amount to approximately €95.   PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS includes all of the above benefits and adds, as a key differentiator, a 23 kg checked bag. Passengers choosing PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS enjoy a complete package covering luggage, meals, drinks, snacks, premium seating, and priority at airport formalities. The upgrade costs €75 per person, per flight segment, compared to an estimated total of €135 if purchased separately, making it an affordable “light business” option that complements Animawings’ existing Business Class services. On domestic routes, where flight times are shorter and service structures naturally differ from international flights, Animawings introduces an adapted package: PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE (DOMESTIC). This package includes a 4 kg small cabin bag, an 8 kg larger cabin bag, a cold meal menu, a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, premium seat selection, priority check-in and boarding, as well as the option for online or airport check-in. The upgrade for PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE on domestic flights is €25 per person, per segment, offering passengers in Romania an enhanced level of comfort and a clearly differentiated experience within Economy Class.   The gastronomic offering associated with the new all-inclusive packages has been developed in partnership with Chef Alex Petricean, a renowned name in modern reinterpretations of Romanian cuisine. For the all-inclusive classes, two types of breakfast menus – one hot and one cold – will be available, along with five options for lunch and dinner, all designed to provide a memorable onboard experience, no matter the destination.   “Animawings gave me an ambitious mission: to bring the taste of Romania aboard their aircraft. That’s how the new menus, inspired by modern Romanian cuisine and adapted to the unique conditions of aviation, were born. I loved the idea from the first moment: to offer passengers a culinary experience that shows who we are as Romanians. In a way, passengers can get to know Romania even during the flight that brings them here. Creating a menu for an airplane is a completely different experience from designing one for a restaurant. It required serious research – including several flights where I studied onboard meals. The message we want to convey is clear: authentic flavors, light yet satisfying, with a story that speaks about who we truly are,” said Chef Alex Petricean.   During the press conference, Marius Pandel detailed that the menus are not optional but will change weekly. Also, the suppliers of the products used will be mainly Romanian suppliers and vegetarian menus will also be available.   Complementing the menus, Animawings announces a new partnership with Crama Darabont, a Romanian winery from the Bihor region, which will provide a curated selection of wines, sparkling wines, and wine-based cocktails onboard. This collaboration aims to add a distinctive touch to the flight experience, highlighting high-quality local products and the pleasure of enjoying a meal or a glass of wine at altitude.   Betty Darabont, one of the owners of Crama Darabont, attended the conference and highlighted the significance of the partnership with Animawings. “This collaboration brings together two Romanian entities founded on the same principles: quality and professionalism, as well as the mission to promote local services and products. We hope that our project with Animawings will be a great success,” she stated.   Crama Darabont, a relatively new family-owned winery established in 2016, cultivates 40 hectares of vineyards in Bihor, in the Cri?ana region, producing approximately 250,000 bottles annually. The vineyards, known as Biharia, benefit from soils that naturally enhance acidity. “We reinvent ourselves every day. We transitioned from agriculture to viticulture, embracing a modern and dynamic approach. Today, we cultivate 13 grape varieties: 8 white and 5 red,” explained Betty Darabont.   Onboard Animawings flights, passengers will be able to enjoy a selection of white, rosé, and red blends, as well as Spritz cans, all served in measured portions.   “We have integrated into these packages everything that defines a modern travel experience: operational comfort, authentic culinary services, and premium Romanian products. PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE and PRIORITY ALL INCLUSIVE PLUS are our answer to passengers’ desire for more, in a simple and transparent way,” added Marius Pandel, CEO of Animawings.   The new packages launched by Animawings are part of the company’s strategic plan to introduce modern standards in Romania, comparable to those of international premium airlines, but tailored to the expectations and needs of Romanian travelers.   The packages will be available on all Animawings flights starting December 10, 2025, and can be purchased through the company’s website, partner travel agencies, or specialized aggregators. With this new commercial approach, Animawings aims to transform the way Romanians travel, offering modern, accessible services that are designed to meet the real needs of passengers.
