The French Ambassador, Nicolas Warnery sent a message on the occasion of Romania's National Day in which he emphasized the common path marked by friendship and mutual respect. ' Dear Romanian friends, with great pleasure, on behalf of France, I address you today a warm message on the occasion of Romania's National Day. We also celebrate a common path marked by friendship and mutual respect. In the field of defense, our cooperation is more solid than ever. France is proud to be the framework nation of the NATO battle group in Romania', said the diplomat in the video message published on Facebook. He also spoke about the success of the military exercise ' Dacian Fall' which demonstrated that ' we can act together'. ' Today I stand in front of the famous painting ' La Blouse Roumaine' by Henri Matisse, brought from the Centre Pompidou. This painting is a symbol and an hommage brought to Romanian culture and traditions. I invite you to come to the museum (the National Museum of Art of Romania - o.n.)to admire it. Happy birthday, Romania' the French ambassador also said.
