President Nicusor Dan , working lunch with the EU ambassadors accredited to Romania.

President Nicusor Dan reaffirmed on Wednesday, at the meeting with the ambassadors of the EU member states in Bucharest, Romania's firm commitment to its pro-European path and to strengthening security and defense in the current geopolitical context.According to the head of state, the implementation of the Defense Readiness 2030 measures, increasing military mobility and the SAFE program remain priorities for Romania.''Today, I had a substantial discussion with the ambassadors of the EU member states in Bucharest. I reaffirmed Romania's firm commitment to its pro-European path and to strengthening security and defense in the current geopolitical context. I emphasized the importance of strengthening European defense, in full complementarity with NATO, as well as the need to continue the efforts started at the European Council in October. "The implementation of the Defense Readiness 2030 measures, the increase in military mobility and the SAFE program remain priorities for Romania," Nicusor Dan wrote in a Facebook post.He also said that he discussed the importance of strengthening European economic competitiveness and the need for an ambitious EU budget post-2027, which would maintain cohesion and agricultural policies as essential pillars of convergence."Romania will continue to actively and constructively engage in all European debates, in order to identify the best solutions to current and future challenges. I thank the ambassadors for the open and substantial dialogue and I wish success to the Danish partners and the future Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU," the head of state added.President Nicusor Dan participated, on Wednesday, at the working lunch with the ambassadors of the European Union member states accredited to Romania.
