The discussions were applied and focused on concrete topics. I highlighted several important elements to the French investors: the acceleration of the digitalization of ANAF [tax authority] and the direction of modernization of the tax administration in Romania; the direction of budgetary stability and the main pillars of medium-term development; public-private partnerships (PPP), as a real tool for accelerating investments", the minister of finance wrote on Facebook on Tuesday. He emphasized that France has solid experience in PPPs, including in health and complex infrastructure, and this know-how is extremely valuable for Romania."I also emphasized in this context that Romania is interested in developing public-private partnerships in key areas, especially for the construction of new hospitals and major infrastructure projects. There are areas where the need for PPP is accentuated, and private capital can efficiently complement public investment.
