Bran Castle and Reduta Brasov Cultural Centre will be offering the history - and beauty lovers an exhibition displaying the traditional customs in Brasov county village of Venetia de Sus over Dec. 12 - Jan. 11 put by photographer Marco Algasovschi and also a folklore show, with the event being entitled "Christmas in the Treasure Village", the organisers said in a release on Monday. "Bran Castle visitors will have the possibility to enter an archaic world by means of the old pictures that have captured pages of the life full of traditions of the Brasov village locals. Moreover, folk ensembles from the villages of Brasov county will perform carols and winter customs every weekend to complete the visual stories", the release added. "The joy of the Nativity of the Lord and the New Year's Eve will turn the walls of the old castle into a magical space, where the Romanian traditions, the wishes of wellbeing and prosperity as well as the symbols represented by means of the traditional costumes will be on full display to the visitors' delight", the organisers said.
