Romanian Domestic Drug Production Declined In Last Five Years Because Of Regulations – Association

The number of boxes of medicine produced in Romania has dropped by 40% in the last five years, from 315 million in 2006 to 190 million in 2011, because the authorities "have sabotaged the domestic drug industry and made the country reliant on imports," said Dragos Damian, head of association APMGR.
