A group of companies from South Korea intends to buy and invest in the Mintia power unit

The group of companies of South Korea, made up of companies AKEDA, Hyundai – Power Systems and BKB intend to buy and invest in Mintia power station, so that the electricity production be based on methane gas and photovoltaic panels, announces the Prefect’ s Office of Hunedoara county.    ‘At the headquarters of the Prefect’s Office – Hunedoara County there was a meeting between prefect Calin Petru Marian and a delegation of a consortium of companies from South Korea who are interested in acquiring the Mintia power station. The discussions were attended by deputy prefects Oana Andreea Biris and Lorincz Szell as well as the special manager of CEH, Cristian Rosu, together with the representative of the legal manager, Emil Gros.   The group of companies from South Korea, made up of the companies AKEDA, Hyundai –Power Systems and BKB intend to buy and invest in Mintia power station, so that the electricity production be based on methane gas and photovoltaic panels’ the prefect’s office announces in their press release.   In this sense, the representatives of the South Korean consortium had official meetings at the ministry of energy after which they visited the power station for technical information.   The South Korean companies are involved in energy investments in other countries in Europe and Asia as well as on other continents.   During the meeting on Monday, prefect Calin Petru Marian informed the investors that Hunedoara county has well trained workforce for the energy production and the human resources needed can be used from the existing one as well as from the future one prepared in secondary schools and universities.   Similarly, the prefect of Hunedoara county told the delegation from South Korea that they will offer the institutional support for this case as well as for other possible investments in the Hunedoara economy.    ‘For use, the support of investments in the economy of the county is a priority of the activity and it is important that possible economic partnerships be efficient and beneficial for both parties’ stated Calin Petru Marian, prefect of Hunedoara county.
