Romanians can buy Treasury bonds with interests up to 4.15% per year, as of September 1

The Finance Ministry announced on Tuesday that it would issue, as of September 1, three new state bond emissions, as part of the Treasury Program, with deadlines of 1,3 and 5 years and interest rates up to 4.15% per year.   Incomes obtained from the investment in the saving offer launched by the Finance Ministry are not taxed.   State bonds can be bought : between September 1-28 from State Treasury units and between September 1- 27, 2021 for the urban area and September 1-24, 2021 for the rural area, through the Romanian Post National Company.   The interest rate is annual, to be paid at terms mentioned in the emission leaflet. State bonds issued as part of the Treasury Program are transferable and can be bought back in advance.People over the age of 18 are eligible.   Funds obtained by the Finance Ministry from the emission of state bonds, will be used to finance budget deficit and refinance public debt.
