SARS-CoV-2 / New restrictions : Masks mandatory outdoors at incidence rate of over 6 per thousand, there will be exceptions

The head of the Emergency Situations Department, Raed Arafat, said on Saturday that in localities with an incidence of more than six cases of SARS-CoV-2 per thousand inhabitants, wearing a mask will be mandatory outdoors, but there will be certain exceptions."At the incidence rate of over six per thousand, yes, it will be mandatory [wearing a mask outdoors, ed.n.]. But there will be exceptions, certain activities. You will see this when the order of the minister of Health and the minister of Internal Affairs is issued, on Monday, which will establish the exceptions, where it not mandatory. For example, if there are sports activities in the park, somewhere, they will not be worn there. But in areas that are crowded, in areas where there is a risk of infection, they [masks, ed.n.] will have to be worn. But a joint order will be issued by the Minister of Health and the Minister of Internal Affairs, which will set out these exceptions.    Most new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to the last report were registered in Bucharest - 2,538 and the counties of Timis - 614, Ilfov - 511, Cluj - 485, Prahova - 461, Dolj - 452, Iasi - 383, informed, on Saturday, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS).The fewest new cases of COVID-19 were in the counties of Tulcea - 33, Giurgiu - 44 and Harghita - 61.The capital has an incidence of 8.28 cases per thousand inhabitants.Ilfov County ranks first in terms of the 14-day cumulative incidence rate, with 8.67 cases per thousand inhabitants, followed by the counties of Timis - 7.30, Cluj - 5.34 and Dolj - 4.99.Along with these, the counties of Alba (3.18), Arad (4.34), Bistrita-Nasaud (4.27), Botosani (3.17), Brasov (3.24), Caras-Severin (3.17), Calarasi (3.45), Constanta (4.20), Galati (3.05), Giurgiu (3.98), Hunedoara (3.19), Ialomita (3.52), Iasi (3.83), Maramures (3.92), Mehedinti (4.46), Olt (4.19), Prahova (3.97), Satu-Mare (3.60) ), Salaj (4.08), Suceava (3.49), Teleorman (4.60) and Vaslui (3.33) are also in the red zone (over 3 cases per thousand inhabitants).In the yellow zone there are 13 counties, and in the green zone - two counties.
