ClusterPower inaugurated an investment of 40 million euro in Dolj

The Romanian company ClusterPower inaugurated an investment of almost 40 million euro in Mischii, Dolj county, in a technological partk where five centres of data, a unit of electricity unit necessary for the consumption of the whole campus will be built.   ClusterPower builds next to Craiova an infrastructure of Artificial Intelligence one-stop-shop, the biggest in Romania and in the region through which they will create the context for the stimulation of economic growth in the region, allowing hosting and developing digital solutions of latest generation, with high added value. Cosmin Georgescu, CEO ClusterPower spoke about the significant potential which Romania offers to this industry.    ‘We have many very specialized industries which need instruments which we create in Mischii and I am talking about the supercomputer which we bring in Romania, a supercomputer similar to that used by Pfizer to create the anti covid vaccine. Such an instrument surely will be used in the pharma industry in Romania or in the domain of nuclear physics or in the energy sector’ states Cosmin Georgescu, CEO ClusterPower. ClusterPower was set up in 2019 by three Romanian entrepreneurs: Cosmin Georgescu, Vladimir Ester and Carmen Ursa Georgescu.
