Tourism: Google Maps : Bran Castle, Peles Castle and Corvin Castle, the most searched for places in Romania, in 2021

Bran Castle, Peles and Corvin Castle are the places in Romania that attracted the most searches on Google Maps, in the first ten months of the year, while in the Capital, the most searched cultural landmarks were the Romanian Athenaeum, the History Museum and the Antipa Museum, reveals an analysis by Google. As regards searches in Europe, the Louvre Museum in Paris and British Museum in London were the most popular sights on Google Maps. In the top dedicated to the most searched for cultural and touristic sights, after the number of reviews on Google Maps there is Bran Castle as well.In Romania, the cultural sights with highest grades on Google Maps are the following : the Tiriac Collection, the Romanian Atheneum and the National Theatre Bucharest.‘Especially during celebrations and mini-holidays, places such as shops and restaurants become crowded. Some people want to avoid crowds – such as in shops or in transport means, some other people look for moments when the places are crowded, such as bars. To get information about the level of crowdedness of a place on Google Maps,we have to access the respective place and scroll to the section ‘ Peak hours’ where such info is presented, for the days of week and times. Google launched the section ‘ Area busyness’ which shows the degree of crowdedness in different parts of the city. You can avoid season crowdedness around places such as the skating rinks or Christmas fair’ says the technology giant in a press release.
