Ministry of Culture to arrange National Museum of Anti-communist Revolution of December 1989 in Timisoara

   The Ministry of Culture informs that it will arrange, in Timisoara, the National Museum of the Anti-Communist Revolution of December 1989, and that had already contracted the design services in November, as a first stage of this project."This period marks the 32nd anniversary of the beginning of the anti-communist revolution in Timisoara, an event that reiterated the courage and patriotic spirit of the Romanians. (...) In paying homage to the fight of the Romanian people against the communist regime, we bring to mind the fact that the Ministry of Culture is going to arrange, in Timisoara, the National Museum of the Anti-Communist Revolution of December 1989, the first institution dedicated to the great historical event assumed at the governmental level, in carrying out this mission, the Ministry of Culture contracted the design services for the museum, in early November 2021, in the first stage of this project," the Ministry of Culture stated in a press release on Thursday.
